Commercial Licensing

Who owns the work?

As the creator of the work, I will own the work as intellectual property - but I will send over a copy of the work for your business to use, along with a commercial usage license which grants your business, a set of intellectual property rights to this work - based on the licensing option your business has selected.

Options

Standard

Worldwide, Non-Exclusive, Perpetual Usage Rights:

  • on your business’s website’s product pages

  • in your business (a print, in-store)

  • email / newsletter promotions

  • organic social media posts

  • personal

    “Standard” license included with all image orders.

Plus (+Website)

Includes all Standard Usage rights plus:

  • across any/all of your business’s website pages (homepage, banners, about page, etc)

    Recommended for businesses that are starting or refreshing their online presence.


    Including a “Plus” license will add about 15% to the cost of your image order.

Premium (+Press, +Paid Social)

Includes all Standard Usage rights plus a 2-year license for:

  • digital advertising / paid social posts

  • editorial use (photo permitted for release to third-parties, only to accompany press coverage in editorial publications - news, magazine, blog, podcast, etc)

Recommended for businesses that are ramping up their brand presence - pitching press coverage and buying digital advertising.

Including a Premium license will add about 30% to the cost of your image order.

General Restrictions?

Pornographic or defamatory uses of the licensed work.

Upgrades/Customizations?

Licensing extensions/upgrades/customizations can be accommodated and scaled to the nature of your request.
